Large Antique Mahogany Bookcase/Display Cabinet

Beautiful and substantial antique mahogany breakfront library bookcase / display cabinet, with lovely figured mahogany grain, decorative astragal glazing and original-style brass fittings.

A very impressive statement piece with plenty of both display and storage space. The upper section has glazed doors with shelving behind, while the lower section has a combination of drawers and panelled cupboard storage.

One of the glazed doors is currently detached but is present and included with the cabinet (see photos). It appears suitable for refitting/restoration. This is an antique piece and naturally has marks, wear and imperfections consistent with its age, all of which contribute to its character and patina.
