Hi, did your upholsterer staple the elastic webbing to the wooden frame? I had an upholsterer reweb one years ago using the proper rubber webbing and dowel system.

@scheherezade the guy who did the webbing did it in a non intrusive way so that the proper Ercol dowel system could be done at a later date if desired

@scheherezade I had an upholsterer come to house and do this. Not sure of material. looks like he used small staples. Have added a couple of pictures I just took of this.
