@strawberry jam: Ooohhh...now there's a proper question! I've had it about 10 years and I've had it loaded it up with books...sometimes a double row of small books. It has never failed to rotate or swing, when full up. Now I wouldn't be trying to have my grandson hang on and give him a whirl (only cos he actually asked me!)...so I'm inclined to say very sturdy for its purposes. But that's only my experience...you're more than welcome to come see it, or a video call if it suits. I'm sure we can deal with any questions you might have that way. Hope this helps.
