A quietly beautiful, practical antique 19th-century mahogany twin-pedestal sideboard (also known as buffet or server).
• Late Regency / William IV era (circa 1830–1840) or possibly early Victorian
• Decorative cresting (scrollwork) on the splashback rail, typical of northern British/Scottish cabinetmaking traditions 1835–1850 period
• Arch /shield panels on cabinet doors
• Mahogany veneer on pine
• 3 deep drawers
• 2 grooves run the length of the piece to display plates etc
• Both cabinets with 3/4-shelves, one cabinet has wine/bottle shelf
• Comes in 3 pieces for transport
• Depth 61cm / 2ft
