@hannahh! Hi

Victorian/Edwardian Mahogany Mirror-Back Sideboard (Chiffonier)

A handsome antique mirror-back sideboard in solid mahogany, with a lot of character and original charm. Features include:

• Arched, pierced pediment with hand-carved floral and scroll detail
• Central bevelled mirror plate flanked by two small display shelves with turned spindle galleries and finial posts
• Two frieze drawers fitted with brass swan-neck drop handles
• Two panelled (beadboard-style) cupboard doors below, with fluted pilaster detailing
• Raised on a plinth base
• Solid, heavy build typical of the period

Dimensions:

• Overall height (base to top of mirror pediment): 67” / 170cm
• Width (mirror back/top): 47” / 120cm
• Width (base cabinet): 35.5” / 90cm
• Depth: 17” / 43cm

Condition:
Good structural condition consistent with age — genuine antique with honest wear. There’s some surface scuffing and light marking to the top and cabinet sides, a small chip/ding to one edge, and general patina from years of use. Mirror plate is intact and clear. No major structural damage; drawers and doors operate as expected. Sold as seen
