1920's Oak Bureau

For sale here is an original 1920’s Oak Bureau.
This item is an antique or vintage oak drop-front writing bureau desk.

The desk features a slanted, hinged lid that folds forward to create a horizontal flat writing surface.
It’s a piece of small proportions, hence it would enhance even the smallest of spaces.

Tooled Skiver: The interior lid is fitted with an original dark brown, faux-alligator or crocodile textured leather/leatherette writing surface bordered by the oak frame.

The hardware is aesthetically so attractive; a typical 1920’s - 1930’s Art Deco appeal - shell shaped drop handles.

The top section features an organized internal gallery containing vertical slots for letters, open shelving cubbies, and a singular small central drawer with a dark knob.
Recently restored and french polished to an exceptional standard.

Material: It is crafted from solid wood, showing the distinctive, prominent grain pattern typical of vintage oak with a warm, golden-brown finish.
