Vintage AEG Universalmesser UM analogue electrical measuring instrument, supplied with its original AEG Zangenwandler WZ current transformer, original brown case and original German instruction leaflet.

A particularly complete example of this vintage AEG test equipment, dating from the mid-20th century.

The UM has multiple AC/DC voltage and current ranges, with voltage ranges from 60 mV up to 600 V.

The Zangenwandler WZ is the original AEG current-transformer accessory, providing AC current measurement ranges of 1.5 A, 3 A, 6 A, 15 A and 60 A.

The rear specification plate also indicates a frequency range of 15–20,000 Hz.

A good collector's piece for anyone interested in vintage German electrical test equipment, AEG instruments, radio/electronics history or industrial design.

Condition: fantastic vintage cosmetic condition for its age, with little signs of use. The case also shows some age-related wear. The instruction leaflet is original and has some age-related wear/creasing.
