The MZ-NH700 is a 2004 Sony Hi-MD Walkman — one of the last generation of MiniDisc portables and one of the more capable ones. Records and plays both standard MD and Hi-MD format, with ATRAC3plus and Linear PCM recording support. Optical digital and analogue line input/output, USB connection for PC transfer via SonicStage. Backlit LCD display, built-in equaliser, DSP Type-S for improved MDLP playback quality. Runs on rechargeable NiMH or AA alkaline battery. Dimensions 81 x 29 x 79mm, 103g without battery.
