The Remote Control Extender enables you to operate for example your Satellite and/or cable receiver, DVD/BluRay in your sitting room from your bedroom (or any room). It can control TV, VCR, SAT/Cable, DVD/BluRay plus audio equipment from room to room.

The Remote Control Extender system comes with a transmitter, a receiver and two AC/DC-adapters.

Transmitter: The Transmitter receives the Infrared signal from the Remote Control and converts this into a RF signal. The transmitter is located where you are (I.e. on top of the bed-room TV).

Receiver: The Receiver receives the RF signal, turns it back into an infrared signal and sends this to the device you want to operate. The receiver is located in the other room where the device is that you want to control (I.e. The satellite receiver/TV box/audio equipment etc).
