Can't believe these are still here. Come pick yourself up a real good quality battery folks, for a fraction of the price installers ask for...

@eheffern: yes, correct. Unfortunately a lot of people in Ireland were tricked into getting proprietary systems installed like Huawei. I'm afraid for any upgrades you will have to go to your installer and it will be expensive even for a very small upgrade like 5-10kWh

Thanks for your reply. 52V won't work with my current 10K System which is rated at 400V

@idurnin: Yes indeed, works with any Solis hybrid inverter or any other inverter that can take a standard 48V battery like Sofar, Deye, EAsun, Sunsynk, etc.

Lots of people watching. Are you all really too afraid to build your own battery? It is safe and it is really rather straight forward, easier than assembling a flat pack from IKEA

Here is a link on boards where someone gives a great tutorial. You will also get lots of help from people who have done it many times before like myself and others:

For this sort of money, an official installer will barely get you an 8kWh battery, which you will very soon find to be way too small. With these cells you can build a far superior quality 37.5kWh battery

@eheffern: Hi, all LiFePO4 cells are 3.2V nominal. So a pack of 16 of these in series for a 48V battery is nominally 51.2V

What is the Rate Battery voltage?

I have these exact same cells myself (two sets of 16) and have ordered some more. Today I charged my battery, which is supposed to have 16 cells times 3.2V nominal times 2 sets times 628Ah capacity = 64.3kWh

I actually charged them with an unbelievable 75kWh (see pic I just added)

These are the best battery cells in the world. Rated for 8000 cycles too. They will literally last a lifetime
