Some inverters and FW versions will calculate approx SOH alright. For accuracy, the battery needs a full discharge and charge balance.

@brayzer . I know the seller. In fact, I removed the Dyness today for the seller and installed a larger capacity battery to suit the house needs. The SOH of the Dyness can't be checked via inverter comms. For that, you need to use SW and connect to the BMS. The inverter was installed in 2023. It's in excellent condition. Cycle count would be approx 1000 if cycled every day since install, leaving the SOH at 90% or greater. The first 5-10% go the fastest. It will take another 5000 cycles before losing another 10%. I'll leave the negotiating to you and the seller, but assume 90% SOH in any case. Good luck to all.

On the inverter battery menu it should show the SOH % (state of health) but if it’s not installed anymore you may not be able to see it?

@brayzer: hi I'm not sure what you mean by health percentage but it was installed new in October 2023 by KB Electrical and has been in every day use until this afternoon. It is not compatible with the new battery we chose hence the reason for sale
