To open, you need to push the cover down and press the buttom or it will get stuck. It came like that already.

INSTRUCTION

To use the Procare Disc Repair Kit, you perform three motorized steps: Buffing (pink pad) for light scratches, then Repairing (yellow pad with fluid) for deeper scratches (repeat if needed), and finally Cleaning (blue pad with fluid) for residue, always adding just two drops of fluid to the right pad and letting the machine cycle automatically. Always clean the buffing pad with the mini brush after each use and repeat the repair/clean steps for heavily scratched discs, but avoid repairing a disc more than three times.

The item shows some signs of use but remains in good working condition. Barely used it.
