Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco 250ml | White Wash Oil & Wood Refresher

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco 250ml is a professional-quality finishing and maintenance oil designed to protect, nourish and refresh indoor wooden surfaces while creating an attractive soft white Scandinavian appearance. Suitable for both newly prepared timber and previously oiled or wax-oiled wood, it provides a convenient way to improve protection while preserving the natural beauty and visible grain of the material.

The plant-based formulation penetrates into absorbent wood rather than simply creating a heavy coating on top. This helps condition the timber while increasing resistance to everyday spills, moisture and staining. Its subtle whitish character also makes it particularly useful when a traditional clear oil would make the timber appear darker or warmer than desired.

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco can be used as the principal treatment on suitable new or freshly sanded wood or as a maintenance oil for surfaces that have already received a compatible oil or hardwax treatment. It is particularly effective for refreshing wood previously treated with white oil or white wash finishes.

## Create a Natural Scandinavian White Wash Finish

One of the main advantages of Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco is its ability to combine protection with an attractive decorative effect.

Traditional clear oils generally deepen the natural colour of timber. Although this can look beautiful, it is not always desirable on pale woods where the objective is to maintain a fresh, contemporary appearance.

Wax Oil Bianco introduces a subtle whitish tone that helps create the popular Scandinavian or Nordic appearance associated with lightly coloured natural timber.

Rather than completely hiding the grain like paint, the oil allows the character and structure of the wood to remain visible.

The final appearance depends on the wood species, porosity, sanding preparation and previous treatments. For this reason, always test the product on a small inconspicuous area before treating an entire table, door or piece of furniture.

## Refresh Old and Worn Oiled Wood

Previously oiled furniture can gradually lose its original appearance.

Cleaning, handling, spills and everyday wear slowly reduce the protective treatment, particularly on frequently touched areas. A kitchen table, for example, may become noticeably dry or dull in the sections used most often.

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco can be used as a maintenance treatment to restore these tired surfaces.

The product bonds with compatible existing oil and hardwax treatments, helping rebuild protection without necessarily requiring the entire piece of furniture to be stripped back to bare timber.

This makes it especially convenient for periodic maintenance.

A worn white-oiled table, chair, wooden door or similar item can be cleaned, dried and refreshed with a thin application, restoring a more consistent appearance while replenishing the protective treatment.

## Helps Protect Wood Against Water and Stains

Indoor furniture regularly encounters liquids, food, fingerprints and general household contamination.

Bare or inadequately protected timber can absorb these substances quickly. Once contamination penetrates the fibres, stains can become much more difficult to remove.

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco penetrates the timber and helps increase resistance against water, spillages and everyday staining.

This makes it particularly useful for frequently used furniture and suitable wooden surfaces where appearance and practical protection are equally important.

The treatment should not, however, be considered a substitute for sensible maintenance. Spilled water, drinks and food should still be removed promptly rather than being left standing on the surface.

## Suitable for Many Indoor Wooden Surfaces

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco is a versatile product suitable for numerous interior wood-care applications.

It can be used on compatible kitchen tables, dining tables, chairs, doors, frames, furniture, wooden toys and other indoor timber surfaces.

It is also particularly useful for small wood restoration projects where the objective is to achieve a pale, natural finish without covering the grain.

The product is intended for new or freshly prepared wood and surfaces already protected with compatible oils or wax oils.

It should not be applied directly over varnished, lacquered or polished wood. These finishes create a film over the timber that prevents the oil from penetrating correctly.

If you are uncertain about an existing finish, carry out a compatibility test before proceeding.

## How to Use Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco

Good preparation and controlled application are essential for producing an attractive, even finish.

**1. Inspect the existing surface**

Determine whether the wood is bare, previously oiled or protected with another coating. Wax Oil Bianco is suitable for absorbent wood and compatible oiled or wax-oiled surfaces. Do not apply it directly over varnish, lacquer or another incompatible film-forming finish.

**2. Clean the wood thoroughly**

Previously used furniture must be properly cleaned before treatment. Remove grease, dust, dirt, food contamination and residues using a suitable cleaner designed for oiled wood.

Applying fresh oil over contamination can trap dirt beneath the finish and produce uneven results.

**3. Allow the timber to dry**

The wood must be dry before application. Never apply the product to a wet or damp surface. After cleaning, provide adequate drying time before beginning the oil treatment.

**4. Test the colour**

Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous section and allow it to develop. Because Wax Oil Bianco contains a whitish character, different timber species can produce noticeably different results.

**5. Apply a thin, even coat**

Use an oiling roller, suitable brush or good-quality microfibre cloth. Apply a small amount and distribute it evenly over the timber.

Always work in the direction of the wood grain. Avoid heavy application, puddles and thick areas of oil.

**6. Allow approximately 20 minutes for penetration**

Give the product time to penetrate into the timber. During this period, dry or particularly absorbent areas may take in more oil than others.

**7. Remove all excess oil**

After approximately 20 minutes, wipe the entire surface thoroughly with a clean cloth.

This is an important stage. Oil that has not been absorbed should not be allowed to remain as a thick layer on top of the timber. Removing excess product helps produce a smoother and more consistent finish.

**8. Allow approximately two hours for initial drying**

Leave the treated surface undisturbed while it dries. Avoid unnecessary touching, moisture or placing objects onto the wood during this period.

**9. Buff the surface**

After approximately two hours, buff the treated timber using a clean, dry cloth. Buffing helps even out the appearance and can increase the sheen of the finished surface.

**10. Allow full curing**

Although the surface can become touch dry in approximately two hours, allow around 24 hours for proper curing before returning it to demanding everyday use.

## Do You Need a Second Coat?

One properly applied coat may be sufficient when Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco is being used to refresh a previously protected surface.

Additional coats are possible where required, particularly on new, highly absorbent or excessively dry timber.

The important principle is to use thin coats rather than attempting to achieve greater protection by flooding the surface.

Excessive application can slow drying and create an uneven or sticky finish.

Assess the wood after the initial application and only add further treatment when necessary.

## Maintaining White Oiled Furniture

Regular maintenance can considerably improve the long-term appearance of white-oiled furniture.

Clean treated surfaces using products compatible with oiled timber and avoid aggressive cleaners that can gradually strip away the protective oil.

Watch frequently used areas for signs of wear. A dining table may begin to look dull or dry around seating positions long before less frequently touched sections show deterioration.

When protection begins to diminish, clean and dry the wood thoroughly before applying another thin maintenance coat.

Periodic refreshing is generally much easier than allowing the original treatment to become severely worn.

## Important Application Recommendations

Never apply Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco to dirty, greasy or wet timber.

Do not combine several unrelated oils, varnishes or sealers in an attempt to create a customised finish without first establishing their compatibility.

Always remove unabsorbed oil approximately 20 minutes after application and provide adequate ventilation and drying time.

Store the container in a cool location away from direct sunlight and keep it out of reach of children.

Oil-contaminated application cloths must also be handled carefully. After use, soak oily cloths in water before disposal in accordance with the product instructions. Never leave used oily cloths crumpled together.

## Refresh, Protect and Brighten Natural Wood

Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco 250ml offers an effective combination of wood protection, maintenance and decorative enhancement.

Its subtle white pigmentation helps retain the lighter character of suitable timber and creates an elegant Scandinavian-inspired finish without completely hiding the natural grain. At the same time, the penetrating oil nourishes the wood and helps protect against moisture, spillages, stains and everyday wear.

Whether refreshing an older white-oiled kitchen table, restoring tired furniture, maintaining chairs and doors or finishing suitable new timber, Nordicare Wax Oil Bianco provides a practical solution.

With proper cleaning, thin application, removal of excess oil and adequate curing time, the product can transform dry and worn wood into a smoother, fresher and better-protected surface while maintaining the natural character that makes real timber so attractive.
