Always sand carefully and evenly.

**Step 3 – Clean the wood**

Remove all sanding dust, grease, dirt and other contamination.

Previously oiled furniture being refreshed should be thoroughly degreased so dirt is removed from the grain rather than being trapped underneath the fresh treatment.

**Step 4 – Allow the timber to dry**

The wood must be completely dry before oiling.

Never apply Danish oil to a wet or damp surface.

**Step 5 – Apply the oil**
