Nissan Leaf Battery Modules (EV batteries, Solar)

Used and tested Gen 1 Nissan Leaf batteries, all with a real usable 39-40Ah remaining when tested to a charge of 8.1v and discharge to 6.0V.

These are nominal 7.5V battery modules , so all have around 300 Wh remaining. These battery modules have 4 cells in each wired in 2x series and 2x parallel in each module..

Ideal for making a 48v, 49v, 50v, 51v, 52v battery for solar inverters, for off-grid, boat, camper, golf buggy or electric mower conversion to lithium and many other projects.

Like all lithium batteries, a BMS is needed, these can be got for around €50 to charge correctly, search for Daly 14S BMS for a nice simple water resistant BMS, just make sure whichever brand/version you buy can charge standard Li-ion batteries and not just Lifepo4 lithium.

7 x batteries gives the ideal 48-52V for inverters and will give you around 2kwh of power...
