These are edge grain boards, not face grain! Face grain boards aren’t as strong and tend to show more knife marks. They also warp more easily if not properly cared for. That’s why I only make edge grain boards — built to last and made the right way. However, if you like me to make you a simple face grain chopping board, let me know.

Please note: Hardwood prices have skyrocketed lately, and quality materials like walnut, maple and cherry have become significantly more expensive since they are imported from the US. Add to that the hours of sanding, cutting, planing, and finishing I put into each board — you're not just buying a cutting board, you're investing in quality craftsmanship that’s built to last for years. Not something you will throw away after two uses from cheap boards.
