RTM-8000 enables to call via GSM networks, supports SMS. It´s also said to call contacts and phonebooks due to pocket PC integration.
RTM-8000 operates in 3 frequency ranges: GSM 900/ DCS 1800/ PCS 1900 MHz. Working as a modem, it provides up to 14.4 Kbps connection, and supports fax (Group 3 / Class 2.0) capabilities. Still, the device requires a SIM card; itself it has Type-1 extended Compact Flash form-factor (62.5x42.8x9 mm).
The product works under Pocket PC 2000 or 2002 with ActiveSync or under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.
