If you are a vintage computing enthusiast or collector, this is a great opportunity to own a piece of Apple history!

Condition & Disclaimer:
This Apple IIe has been tested to the best of my ability as a private collector. It powers on, runs programs, and outputs PAL color video (see images). However, I am not a professional technician, and I do not have the equipment to perform a full diagnostic or certify 100% functionality. As such, while the unit appears to be in good working order, I cannot guarantee long-term performance.

This is a vintage item, over 40 years old, and is sold as-is, with no returns or refunds. These vintage computers do not have a disk drive as standard, the drives were/are sold separately.
No cables or manuals are included, but these machines are very easy to use and information is available online.

Please review all images carefully before purchasing. Images shown are taken from this exact unit. This is an vintage Apple IIe computer, not an Apple Mac computer, and were not built for utilizing a mouse.

If you are a collector, it's possible to UV clean the case and create an entire package of peripherals and sell this type of machine to collectors on major auction sites for big money. I am selling this in order to pay my car tax.

@blakes7fan:

Oh... It hasn't been recapped. I had a few Apple IIe's, one of the other machines was recapped.

This machine may have had a capacitor removed at some point, which according to some Apple engineer on Apple user's bulletin board, the faulty capacitor was un-necessary and this machine would function normally without it.

So - it's working, I could put in new capacitors - my soldering is good, but my ability to take boards apart isn't great, and I don't want to damage it.

That was a few years ago and it's been powering on normally since then.

If you wanted to have a look at it first, or see it working - that'd be totally fine.

Thanks for your offer, the American version of these machines are worth $180+ in the USA as broken units. Working units are worth much more. Apple IIe machines do not come with peripherals.

All peripherals were sold separately by Apple. This machine was part of a set of four networked together that shared one set of drives.

What this machine is missing is just a manual and a cable.
