Phillip Leyesa aka “Philllllthy” is making a name for himself for his unquestionably unique and vintage-infused customisation. You only need to look to socials to see his reworked, scuffed up and patchworked pieces that make us question whether we’re back in the ‘80s. Now, gaining the attention of adidas, the two link up for the first collaboration of the NMD_S1. Taking Leyesa’s distinctive design codes to this lifestyle model, it’s got one foot in nostalgia and the other in future-thinking. Uppers are in a two tone space-dyed Primeknit sock, complemented with icy blue knitted rope laces and contrasted with a futuristic semi-translucent cage - bold Three Stripes are there of course. Down below, blue tones carry onto the midsole bricks, plus there's the iconic Boost cushioning and co-branding. A gumsole finishes, with Tre-foil shaped lugs for grip.
