The SEAI have strict rules on attic
work that registered installers have to adhere to. All my work is assessed by a BER inspector before they pay out. Any installer who says that to you probably has lost his license or wants to make the job suit himself, not you !!!
They usually pay the grant within 2 months of the job completion.
You must apply online in advance, that way you get confirmation of the grant they will pay.
When they say the grant process is a hassle and will do it for cash, what are their costs to you without the grant ?? Then compare them to mine on the third photo which works out approx 400 after grant.
