Beautiful hardback leatherbound 1861 first edition of 'Poems by Eliza Cook'. 408 pages.
Very attractive green leather binding with fine tooling and gilding, as well as gilt edges.
In good overall condition with some edge wear and light staining to the covers, some tanning and foxing internally, as well as slight opening to the binding at the rear of the book as highlighted. Binding remains tight, no loose or damaged pages, crisp and clean throughout. Well-preserved for its age.
It measures approx. 23cm x 18cm x 4.5cm.
With numerous illustrations throughout.
