Offered here is an original first printing of In the Steps of St Paul by H.V. Morton, published in Great Britain in October 1936 by Rich & Cowan, London. This edition was part of the initial print run of 200,000 copies.

The book retains its original black cloth boards with gold lettering on the spine. Please note that the spine shows significant wear — there is a visible tear/detachment along part of the spine (see photos), and general edge wear consistent with age.

Inside, some pages contain markings, annotations, or notes from a previous owner, adding a sense of history and personal connection to the text. Binding is aged but intact apart from the spine damage mentioned.

A wonderful opportunity for collectors of H.V. Morton works or those interested in historical travel writing with biblical connections. Despite the wear, this is a scarce first printing of one of Morton’s notable titles.
