This is an automatic battery charger which turns itself off when the charging cycle is complete to prevent overcharging.LED indicator lamp glows red when charging and green when charging is complete.
When charging, first connector to the battery, then connect to AC; after full, cut off AC, then pull the battery plug. If you pull the battery plug first while charging, especially when the charging current is large (red light), it is very easy to damage the charger.
When the charger is charging, the heat is dissipated through the case, so some of the heat on the case is very normal when charging, but it is very durable.
