The Tacx Bushido Smart Trainer is a completely wireless trainer, meaning that it doesn’t need an external power source or any cabling. The Bushido generates its own power coming from the input of the cyclist. By pedaling, electricity is generated and used to power the electronics.
As it is fully wireless and powered by your pedalling, it can even be used outside.
It can connect to your laptop, phone, PC, etc. via Bluetooth and pair up to your training software, such as Zwift, Rouvy, Tacx/Garmin training app, etc. Once paired it will simulate the ride for you or you can put it into erg mode for a consistent pace.


The Bushido is equipped with a flywheel and has the virtual flywheel capabilities. The combination of an actual flywheel and a virtual flywheel improves the smoothness, but is also capable of adjusting its simulated inertia according to the riders weight, speed, incline and other factors existing during an outdoor experience.
