First, the stand should be pre-curved according to the rear wheel axle width. The second condition, on the rear wheel, standard nuts must be used for tightening, not a special quick-release mechanism. The third condition is that the wheel size does not exceed 26". I was able to use it for my bike with no problems, but my wheel is 28", so it is just useless for me :-)
