For sale is a mint condition prize medal issued by the WEST SUFFOLK WHEELER'S CYCLING CLUB. This medal was produced by adapting the club's badge through the addition of a scrolled section to the lower and top sides with a bale and suspension ring. This medal shows the club's old logo and colours.
The West Suffolk Wheelers Cycling Club was established in 1922 and are currently based at Bury St. Edmunds. In 2010, the club was renamed as the West Suffolk Wheelers Cycling & Triathlon Club. They also changed their club colours to red and black at the time.

Size: about 1 1/16" across (27mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: tin or chrome plated.
Fitting: bale & suspension ring.
Imprint: none, also uninscribed.
Approximate age: about 1950's to 1970's.
CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage.
