For sale are two items of holiday camp memorbilia, sports medals awarded for participation in swimming and running sports events at one of the Warner Holiday Camps. The camp's Bluecoats organised entertainment at holiday camps that included such sporting events.

Warner Holiday Camps was established in 1932 by Captain Harry Warner and remained one of the main rival holiday camps to Butlins and Pontins. By the 1980s changes in public tastes for holidays had changed and together with cheaper package holidays abroad, the nature of holiday camps changed and many closed. Since 2021, Warner Holidays have been owned by the Blackstone Group.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1 3/16" across (30mm).
Material(s): diecast metal alloy & one green vitreous enamel. Printed inserts are laminated over with a clear material.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: bale & suspension ring.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1970s to early 1990s.

CONDITION:
Good condition. No damage.
Marks over the image on both medals are a result of the lamination process.
