This walking stick was harvested from windfall cherry .
The mother tree is over 150 years old and graces an orchard in an old North Cork convent.
A brass ferrule has been fitted on the end and brass pins have been inserted into the head adding to its character.
Comfortable to carry due to its leather wrap handgrip this is a stick for a lifetime built to offer companionship on country walks and outings.
