Vintage wooden shoe-cleaning box

Vintage wooden shoe-cleaning box complete with traditional accessories.
Contoured footrest: A distinctive angled element mounted on the box lid. The person having their shoes cleaned would rest their foot on it, facilitating stable polishing and polish application. It also served as a convenient handle for carrying the box.
Box construction: Made of solid wood featuring visible, sturdy dovetail joints at the corners and a classic metal latch on the front.
Leather travel case: A smaller, zippered pouch containing small dauber brushes (for applying polish) and a soft polishing cloth.
Two elongated wooden brushes—one light-colored and one with dark bristles showing signs of use—ideal for removing dirt and final leather buffing.
