Vintage TG Green Gripstand Mixing Bowl 24 English Mustard Yellow Ware 1950s

A beautiful mid 20th century English T.G. Green Gripstand Church Gresley Mixing Bowl.

Perfect vintage baking with the most clever design in mixing bowls it can stand on its side. This lovely T.G. Green 'Gripstand' mixing bowl is one of the most recognized kitchen staples in England. This style was known as Pressed Yellow Ware.
This particular bowl was crafted in the United Kingdom between 1950-1959.

Gripstand was registered with the Patent Office in 1906 and with no changes to the design.It is in excellent vintage condition with no, chips, cracks or repairs.
Pretty design on the yellow exterior of the bowl and the interior is white with no stains however it does have the three “marks” where the bowl was held fast and dipped in the glaze. Normal for this technique.
This would be a great addition to a rustic cottage or farmhouse kitchen look or a lovely housewarming or wedding gift.
