DESCRIPTION:
Size: 1 1/16" (28mm) across.
Material(s): Die-stamped brass with three vitreous enamels.
Finish: Gilt plated.
Fitting: Bale & suspension ring.
Imprint: None. No inscription.
Approximate age: 1910's - 1920's.
This prize medal was issued by the Rochester Men's Swimming Club of Kent. The old City of Rochester heraldic arms are depicted on the central shield.
CONDITION:
A good condition metal and enamelled medal. No damage. Some staining on the white enamel.
