This lovely 1970s Ravenhead White Fire bowl has a distinctive "ice bark" or "white fire" textured pattern on the outside and a smooth inside finish. This modernist design, which evokes melted ice or tree bark, was a popular style in the mid-century era
This bowl is large sized and would be perfect serving a trifle or other desserts or for fruit.
Ravenhead began as a glass factory in St Helens, North West England, in 1842, and branched into domestic tableware like bowls and drinking glasses in the 1930s.
In good condition with some age related wearing.
