Vintage padlock
vintage German-manufactured sheet metal padlock stamped with the "BOSS" brand name on the front, featuring a distinctive Art Deco sunburst ray pattern around the keyhole. The reverse side reveals the logo of a European bison along with the word "BUFFO" and the stamp "FOREIGN". The "BUFFO" line was a prominent budget-oriented export range produced by the major German lock manufacturer BKS (Boge & Kasten Solingen).
This specific style of padlock is approximately 60 to 80 years old, dating from the 1940s to the 1960s.
