Vintage Opaline Tobacco Jar for Fantastica N V Willem II Sigarenfabrieken Valkenswaard Holland

A fabulous trio of opal glass canisters with plastic push-on lids, perfect for use as tea, coffee and sugar canisters or storage of other kitchen ingredients such as flour or other dried goods. The set, produced in Belgium for N.V. Willem II Sigarenfabrieken Valkensward (cigar factory) were originally intended as cigar humidors.

Vintage opaline tobacco jar "Fantastica" by N.V. Willem II Sigarenfabrieken Valkenswaard Holland. This large pot has a dark blue plastic lid with logo. The decoration of this pot consists of an old Dutch landscape with windmills, sailing ships and a village view with a cloudy sky in Delft blue colours.
This beautiful pot is signed on the bottom with NV Willem II Sigarenfabrieken. The jars were made in the 1960s and 1970s.
Made of sturdy milk glass / opaline. Still excellent to use as a storage container in the kitchen for, for example, sugar or salt and the like. Or as an alternative cookie jar!
