Vintage mixing bowl

This is a large cane bowl made by TG Green & Co Ltd
The bowl is marked on the base with “Green & Co Ltd, Gresley, Made in England”, together with the church stamp and the registration number 744299. This is an early backstamp, and possibly dates back to the 1940s. It has been made in the traditional caramel colour with the classic embossed diamonds on the outside to aid grip, with a cream coloured glaze inside. The diameter is around 9 and a half inches and height is 4 inches( see photos)

The condition of the bowl is very good with no significant chips or cracks and no crazing. It just has some marks of use on the inside, (see photo) which doesn’t detract from the beauty of this old bowl. It is in pretty good condition, considering it’s around 80 years old!
