Original MB Games Countdown – The Challenging Word-Power Game.
Based on the classic Channel 4 / Yorkshire Television quiz show that launched in 1982. Players select nine random letters and race against the clock to form the longest possible word. Use all nine letters for a double score. A demanding game that improves vocabulary and quick thinking.
Ages 10 & up, 2 or more players. Made in Waterford, Republic of Ireland.
Almost complete – includes the letter tiles, board, cards and original packaging. Only the small sand timer is missing (easily replaced with a phone timer, stopwatch or egg timer).
A genuine mid-1980s licensed edition of one of Britain’s longest-running television quiz shows. Popular with collectors of TV board games and fans of the original Richard Whiteley era.
