Vintage Iodosan brown glass bottle
A vintage Italian 1960s Iodosan hexagonal brown glass bottle. H: 11cm. This was a popular disinfectant mouthwash produced by Zambeletti. A few drops were diluted in water to gargle. Contained 5% iodine, also mint the thyme. Was suggested cpuld be used neat in place of iodine. A few drops appear to be left in the bottle. This format is long discontinued while other Iodosan products including toothpaste have been developed. See photos. Selling on eBay from Italy at €24.99 plus €19.99 postage. Selling here for €10.
