Vintage Iittala "Tapio" Cocktail Glasses Set of 6 - Tapio Wirkkala - Mint in Box

A stunning, pristine set of 6 vintage "Tapio" glasses, designed by the legendary Tapio Wirkkala in 1952 for Iittala (Finland).

Condition:

Glasses: Mint / Cabinet condition. Brand new old stock, never used. All 6 glasses still retain their original red Iittala stickers ("i" logo) and paper labels. No chips, cracks, or cloudiness.

Packaging: Comes in the original 1970s/1980s vintage blue box with the protective styrofoam insert and original Scandinavian care leaflet. The box shows minor shelf wear on the edges but is overall in great vintage shape.

Design Features:
The "Tapio" series is a true icon of Nordic Mid-Century Modernism. Each glass features a thick, solid base with a single, perfectly captured air bubble inside—a signature technique developed by Wirkkala using a damp wooden stick inserted into the hot molten glass.
