Vintage "Graffunzel" Desk Lamp, not working

This is a Vintage 1980s "Graffunzel" Desk Lamp designed by Friedemann Graff for Ingo Maurer. Very rare item.
Either the fuse, on or off switch or the bulb isnt working unfortunately. As I tried to get the light higher up the left hand side holder broke. Could have glued it back together with super glue, but would like to stay honest. Means those 2 things need attention.
The lamp features a movable spotlight head, designed to resemble a car headlight, mounted on a slim, U-shaped brass stem.
It is constructed from brass and aluminium with a polished finish, emblematic of 1970s and 1980s modernism
The spotlight is designed to be adjustable for height and inclination making it a functional yet sculptural piece.
