Vintage Chinese Oriental Hand Painted "Lucky Children" Ceramic Dolls - Pair

A pair of vintage Chinese ceramic figurines depicting the traditional mythological characters Jintong and Yunu, famously known as the "Golden Boy" and "Jade Girl".
In traditional Asian culture and folklore, these two are celebrated as the "lucky children" or celestial servants to the deities, specifically representing ultimate good fortune, prosperity, harmony, and familial blessings to the household they reside in.

Hand-painted and handmade with a vibrant glazed finish and hollow interiors. Both figures feature small openings in their folded hands designed to hold traditional accessories like mini umbrellas, scrolls, or lucky coins, which are not included.

There is a tiny hairline crack on the pink flower on the girl's left hair bun as shown in pictures, but they are otherwise in great vintage condition with no other chips or damage.
