Rare Vintage Pouch "Single Kitchen" / "Kochbox" Portable Camping Kitchen

Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of outdoor design history: an original VEB Pouch "Single Kitchen" (Kochbox) portable camping unit. This is an authentic, cold-war era item manufactured in East Germany (Made in GDR / DDR).

This particular unit is a trilingual export model ("Kochbox" / "Cuisine simples" / "Single Kitchen") and features incredible postal history on the packaging, including the original UK distributor label (Joy & King Ltd) and a handwritten shipping address to Dublin, Ireland.

Condition:

New Old Stock (NOS): Unused and still flat-packed inside its original vintage cardboard sleeve.

Includes the classic retro blue-and-white checkered textile windbreak screen/lining visible inside the packaging.

The original box shows some authentic age-related storage wear but remains structurally intact.
