Vintage Boarding/Fire Axe

Here is a super large vintage axe..with plenty of age attached to it..I can't find any marks,so age is determined by head shape,size and overall patination.I have seen the same head shape and size being described as mid Nineteenth century boarding axe..In truth,it would have had many uses over its long life.. including I'm sure use as a fire axe during one or both wars.I have priced this very sensibly..It it had a marked head,it would be six hundred euro plus..The handle has been very well replaced at some point in it's life..there is zero lateral movement..It stands at 41" tall..The head is a very reassuring 9.5" wide and 10" long..This has had recent use as the blade has an edge to it..Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
