Vintage Arklow Pottery ‘Granada’ Dinner Service – Made in Ireland – €250

A beautiful vintage Arklow Pottery ‘Granada’ dinner service, produced in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. This classic mid-century Irish pattern, with its elegant brown and gold design, is becoming increasingly sought after by collectors and those who appreciate quality Irish ceramics.

The service comprises:

• 6 dinner plates
• 6 luncheon/side plates
• 5 soup/cereal bowls
• 5 dessert bowls
• Large serving platter
• Large serving bowl
• 2 covered vegetable tureens
• Gravy boat

The service is in very good vintage condition overall. Please note that two luncheon plates display slight crazing and light utensil marking, as shown in the photographs. There are five soup bowls and five dessert bowls, with one of each missing. The missing pieces could readily be replaced over time by another collector.

A lovely service for everyday use, display or entertaining, and an excellent example of Irish craftsmanship from one of Ireland’s best-known pottery manufacturers.
