Vintage Aircraft "Black Box" Camera with film
This is an RAF Dial Camera, made by AGI in the UK.
It was bolted to the bulkhead behind the pilot during flight, and photographs of the aircraft dials and their readings were taken by the pilot pulling on a cord to operate the shutter, and wind the film to the next exposure.
It was described as an early220 "Black Box" device because it would record so much data, albeit in a primitive way compared to modern electronic recorders.
This is rather heavy, and comes in the original grey wooden military case, with rolls of original Ilford unexposed film.
The camera shutter appears stuck, although all other functions work perfectly.
The aircraft is not included. Presumably you have one of your own.
:-)
This is priced for a quick sale, just one of many similar items that I don't have the space for.
No time-wasters please, this is in Crumlin Dublin 12, and can be collected, or delivered to very close locations.
