Vintage 1960's LIEZ Flasher King Lantern

Original vintage LIEZ “Flasher King” No. 632 3-in-1 Universal Lantern, dating approximately from the 1960s.

A very unusual period 6-volt auto and camping lantern, made in Hong Kong and supplied with its original illustrated box.

Features a large adjustable front spotlight together with a red warning/beacon light on top. The spotlight can be tilted and held at different angles using the side adjustment mechanism.

Both the main spotlight and red warning light have been tested and are working, as shown in the photographs.

The lantern is approximately 20cm high including the carrying handle.

Very attractive blue body with chrome-effect fittings and red upper lens. It remains in good vintage condition with age-related marks and wear. The original cardboard box has considerable storage wear, tears and old tape repairs but is a great addition and displays well alongside the lantern.

Takes 4 × D (LR20) 1.5V batteries. Batteries are NOT included.

A great display piece for a collection of vintage lighting, automobilia, camping equipment or 1960s accessories.
