Vintage 1950s Valve Radio Restoration

Authentic vintage 1950s valve/tube tabletop radio housed in a dark Bakelite / hard plastic casing.

The standout feature of this unit is the beautifully intact front glass tuning dial, which highlights historic Irish broadcasting history with "R.E. DUBLIN" and "ATHLONE" printed clearly on the display scale. It also features other legendary period stations like BBC Light and Luxembourg.

A fantastic restoration project for an electronics hobbyist, an ideal piece of local Irish social history, or a wonderful retro display prop.
