Victorian Silver Plate Egg Coddler Server Warmer By Mappin Brothers Circa 1800's
Vintage silver-plated egg coddler, also known as an egg warmer or server. It is designed to keep eggs warm at the table.
Including insert frame to hold four eggs. Dome form cover.
Mappin Brothers was a firm of silversmiths and cutlery manufacturers. They operated a shop at "222 Regent Street and London Bridge" and marked their plate with this address between 1863 and 1894.
Good condition, has a couple of dents one at the base and one at the top, great for its age! See pictures for more details, it has acquired a beautiful patina/stain throughout the years, and will be shipped as is.
