Victorian Decanter
Antique Victorian glass decanter. This clear flint glass decanter with bulls eye pattern was made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company Sandwich Massachusetts. Unfortunately, there is some damage to the neck of the decanter itself and also to the stopper.
The decanter is quite heavy due to the use of powdered flint used in the making of the glass. The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company were what one writer called the most important manufacturer of pressed glass in 19th century America
