Vasart Glass Vase c.1955 - 60, Cream to Blue Fade, 6.5", Polished Pontil
A mid-century Vasart Scottish art glass vase, dating to the mid–late 1950s.
This example displays a soft satin cream body graduating into a powder blue base, with a subtle colour transition typical of post-war Vasart production. The form is a classic waisted cabinet shape with gently flared rim and substantial wall thickness.
The base retains a clearly visible, neatly polished pontil mark. The piece is unsigned, consistent with much Vasart output of the period. No evidence of later engraving.
Height: 6.5 inches (16.5cm)
Weight: 700g Heavy for size (typical of Vasart manufacture)
Condition: No chips, cracks, or restoration.
The colourway and construction align with documented late Vasart studio production prior to the Strathearn transition period.
