Dollard Printinghouse Company was a famous printing, manufacturing, and bookbinding firm based on Wellington Quay in Dublin, Ireland, operating from the late 19th through the 20th century. While primarily a printing house, they manufactured and distributed specialized religious ephemera, devotional badges, and sodality medals.

The Inscription: The text around the border reads, "Sweet Heart of my Jesus make me love thee ever more and more." This is an indulgence prayer formally approved by Pope Pius IX in 1876. The prayer directly inspired the famous traditional Catholic hymn "Sweet Heart of Jesus," a staple of Irish Catholic identity throughout the late 1800s and 1900s.

Purpose: This object is a Sodality or Confraternity Medal.
